What you’d do

Assist veterinarians and vet techs with exams, treatments, and surgeries, restrain animals, run basic lab tests, give medications and vaccines under supervision, and keep records and the clinic clean. You’ll need

• Experience with animals in a veterinary setting preferred
• Animal handling and restraint skills
• Basic lab sample collection (blood, urine, stool)
