TECHNICIAN (Electro-Mechanical & Photonic Assembly)

What you’d do

Build and assemble electro-mechanical and photonic prototypes, including chassis wiring, point-to-point soldering, drilling, tapping, and optical fiber splicing and spooling. Run routine tests on photonic integrated circuits under scientific staff direction, logging data from benchtop instruments. Full time. Found on the employer's careers page on Oct 18, 2026. You’ll need

• PCB/wire harness soldering experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Familiarity with drill press, hand tools, taps/dies
• Optical fiber splicing and preparation
• Machine shop/machining experience desirable
