Engine Lab Test Engineer

What you’d do

Test engineer for the Dearborn Engine Laboratory, running dynamometer-based tests on gasoline and diesel engines, including development, durability, calibration, certification and cooling system tests. Coordinates with requesting activities to document test requirements and ensure quality engine setup and disposition. Tuesday through Saturday, 7 am to 3:30 pm. You’ll need

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 1+ years in powertrain calibration/development and testing
• Working knowledge of internal combustion engines
• Working knowledge of internal fluid flow mechanics
• Tuesday through Saturday, 7 am - 3:30 pm
