Obtains and records patient eligibility and benefit information, and starts the admission notification and authorization process. • High School diploma or equivalent
• 3 years insurance verification experience in healthcare
• Preferably hospital or clinic setting experience
• Insurance authorization and financial clearance skills
• Strong communication with patients and insurers
