Assists surgeons and nurses during major and minor procedures, maintaining asepsis, positioning and prepping patients, counting instruments and needles, handling specimens, and preparing instruments for sterilization. You’ll need

• High school diploma or GED
• Surgical Technician degree
• 1 year surgical tech experience may substitute for degree
• Asepsis and sterile technique
• Instrument and needle counts
