What you’d do

Researches internal payment policies and competitor and industry practices to find cost savings, then develops strategies such as policy changes, authorization criteria, and contract or claims-editing approaches. You’ll need

• 3 years health plan experience or 3 years medical coding
• CPC certification required within first 6 months of hire
• Health plan claim auditing or appeals experience preferred
• BS/BA/Advanced degree in health care or medical field preferred
