You’ll need

• 2-3 years billing, insurance follow-up or payor experience
• ICD-10, revenue codes, CPT-4 and HCPCS
• MS Excel, Word and Outlook
• Read and interpret contracts, claims and policies in English
• Calculate rates using mathematical skills
