Senior System Safety Engineer

What you’d do

Apply formal risk assessment and the hierarchy of controls to production equipment, lift fixtures, test stations, and manufacturing work instructions, identifying hazards early and designing them out with EHS, manufacturing, controls engineering, and production teams. You’ll need

• B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Safety Engineering or equivalent
• 7+ years in manufacturing/machine safety, equipment or controls engineering, or related
• Demonstrated ownership of risk assessments
• Formal risk assessment and hierarchy of controls
• On-site manufacturing floor work in Washington, DC
