Patient Access Representative

What you’d do

Registers emergency department patients, verifies insurance, and collects patient payments, including Medicare medical necessity and payer precertification checks. You’ll need

• High School diploma or GED
• 2+ years hospital registration or insurance verification experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology and diagnostic/procedural coding
• HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA within 1 year of hire
