What you’d do

Audits diagnosis and procedure code assignments for inpatient and outpatient encounters against electronic medical record documentation, ensuring compliance with coding rules and regulatory guidelines. You’ll need

• Associate's degree or higher in CAHIIM-accredited health informatics program, or 2 extra years of ex
• RHIT, RHIA, or CCS certification from AHIMA
• 5 years of coding experience relevant to the audited area
• Coding accuracy and data quality review skills
