What you’d do

Assign accurate diagnostic and procedure codes to outpatient, emergency room, therapy, and clinic encounters based on electronic medical record documentation, following coding rules and regulatory guidelines. You’ll need

• Associate's degree in accredited health informatics program or 2 years additional experience
• CPC-H certification (AAPC)
• 1 year relevant outpatient coding experience or completion of Houston Methodist Coding Apprentice Pr
• Accurate diagnostic and procedure coding from EMR documentation
