What you’d do

Assist veterinarians and vet techs with exams, treatments, and surgeries, restrain animals, run basic lab tests, give medications and vaccines under supervision, and keep records and the clinic clean. You’ll need

• At least 1 year of veterinary assistant experience
• Animal handling and restraint skills
• Knowledge of disinfection and administering medication
• Experience using diagnostic equipment
• Physical ability to handle animals
