What you’d do

Trains and supports new medical record coding specialists, audits coded records, and keeps inpatient and outpatient coding policies current. Also codes records using ICD-9, ICD-10 and CPT-4, sequencing diagnoses and procedures and abstracting data in the Encoder Software and IHIS. Full time, remote. You’ll need

• 2-year college degree in Health Information Management
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Medical record coding experience
• ICD-9, ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding
• Encoder Software and electronic medical record systems
