What you’d do

Assigns diagnostic and procedure codes to day surgery and observation encounters based on electronic medical record documentation, maintaining compliance with coding rules and regulatory guidelines. • Associate's or higher in CAHIIM-accredited HIIM program, or 2 extra years experience
• One of the listed coding credentials
• 3 years relevant outpatient coding experience or HM Senior Outpatient Coder Transition Program
