Jobs I Know

A new way to search for jobs

Let your resume do the talking

Or your coursework, or a sentence about what you want. We search the jobs for you, put the closest matches first, and show who to connect with on LinkedIn.

What is Jobs I Know?

A new way to search for jobs: let your resume do the talking. Upload your resume or coursework, or describe the job you want in your own words, and we search jobs from employers’ own career sites for you, put the closest matches first, and show who to connect with on LinkedIn.

How do I find jobs that match my resume?

Upload your resume as a PDF. We read it in your browser, take out your contact details, write a short description of the job you’d search for, and show the jobs that match it, closest first.

You can change the description any time, and the matches change with it. Your file is never saved.

Can I find internships from my coursework?

Yes. Upload a list of your courses or your transcript as a PDF, tell us when you graduate, and we look for internships or full-time jobs to match what you’ve studied.

Graduating more than a year from now? We look for internships. Within a year, or already graduated? Entry-level jobs.

Can I search for a job in my own words?

Yes. Write a sentence about yourself and what you want, like “ER nurse, 3 years, want ICU nights”, and we search by what it means, not by matching keywords.

Where could my experience lead?

From your resume or coursework, we suggest a few career paths, each with roles to look for and the part of your resume that led to it. Pick one, and we search its jobs.

Who should I connect with on LinkedIn?

We show public LinkedIn profiles of people in your field and area, so you know who to reach out to. We only show them: we never message anyone for you.

How do I know which jobs are worth applying to?

Every job shows when the employer first posted it, whether it’s been reposted, when it closes soon, whether it pays more or less than similar jobs, and what it says about visa sponsorship and education.

Signed in, your top matches are marked Top, Good or Partial match against your description, and a job likely to be crowded with applications is flagged.

Where do the jobs come from?

From employers’ own career sites and USAJOBS, checked every four hours, across about 110 US metro areas plus remote jobs. Right now that’s 14,829 entry-level jobs and 6,952 internships.

See where our jobs come from, or what’s open by field in the entry-level jobs report.

Is my resume saved?

No. Your file is read in your browser, your contact details are taken out before anything leaves your device, and the file is never saved.

The details are in our privacy policy.

Is it free?

Yes. Your first resume match needs no account, and signed in you get five a day.
