Jobs I Know

For career centers

A free job search to share with your students

Jobs I Know matches a student’s resume or coursework to entry-level jobs and internships on employers’ own career sites, and shows the people doing that work nearby to connect with on LinkedIn. Students get a head start instead of spending hours searching for who to reach out to. Right now it has 15,125 entry-level jobs and 6,685 internships open across the US.

What students get

  • Who to connect with on LinkedIn: public profiles of people doing the work they want, near them, found by AI from their resume, each with the reason it’s shown. We only show them; we never message anyone.
  • The closest matches first, from a resume, a list of courses or a sentence about the job they want. Graduating more than a year out, they see internships; within a year, entry-level jobs.
  • A few career paths their experience could lead to, each with the roles to look for.
  • Every job shows when the employer first posted it, whether it was reposted, if it closes soon, how its pay compares with similar jobs, and what it says about visa sponsorship.

It’s free. A first resume match needs no account, and a free account gets five a day.

What happens to a student’s resume

The file is read on the student’s device and never saved. Contact details are taken out before any text is sent, and nothing is kept after the search.

Where the jobs come from

From employers’ own career sites and USAJOBS, checked every four hours. When an employer takes a job down, so do we. It works alongside your campus job board: it reads employers’ career sites directly, so it can include employers who don’t recruit through campus boards.

Some job pages show one ad from an advertiser we reviewed. There are no ad networks or tracking scripts. More on where our jobs come from.
